Inspirational Women

To all Men
A mother was out walking with her 4-5 year old son. He picked up something of the ground and tried to put it in his mouth. Mother took the item away from him and asked him not to do that.

Why? The boy asked.

"Because it’s been on the ground; you don’t know where it is been, it’s dirty and probably has germs. Mother replied.

As this point, the boy looked at his mother with total admiration and asked, Mom, how do you know all these stuff. You are so smart.

Mother thought for while and replied, All women know this stuff, it is on the Examination, all mother  have to know it, otherwise god doesn't allow any women to become Mother.

The boy asked,  if you have not answered the question? Mother doesn’t have the answer
Both walked in silent for couple of minutes more, boy pondering the new information, and said Oh… I got it; he beamed, so if you don’t pass the test you have to be Dad.

EXACTLY! Mom replied with great pride and big smile. Please keep the same innocence and respect WOMEN.

How to Manage People

Do you have someone who at work consistently triggers you? Doesn't listen? Takes credit for work you've done? Wastes your time with trivial issues? Acts like a know-it-all? Can only talk about himself? Constantly criticizes?

Badri Narayan entered the office literally to a roaring welcome by the stentorian voice of his Administrative Officer Ranga Bhashyam. (Ranga)
RANGA:  “You are late again, Badri.”
Badri was painfully aware that it was no mere rhetoric.
Badri:     “Sorry, sir.”
RANGA: “What is it today, your great grandfather expired?”
Badri:     “Sir, bbb…bus broke down.”
RANGA: “Www…why don’t you buy a two-wheeler?”
Badri:    “I will, sir, when my loan is sanctioned …”
RANGA:“So, until then your highness will attend office when convenient?”
Badri:    “Nnn…no, sir.”
RANGA: “This is the third time this month. Next time you will be typing your résumé. Got it?”
Badri:“Yyy…yes, sir. It will not happen again, sir.”
RANGA:“OK. What happened to the …”

That was another routine day in the official life of Badri Narayan. Read full story:

Pompous jerk, annoying nudge, or incessant complainer, an insufferable colleague can negatively affect your attitude and performance. Instead of focusing on the work you have to do together, you may end up wasting time and energy

Chances are, in your job, you will have come across at least one type of person that you've found it difficult to work with. Here are fourteen types of difficult people you may meet at work and advice for understanding and getting along with each one.

Let’s be clear on one thing, difficult people do exist. Even it is not in a a form of “Boss” like Ranga, but always appear as “Friend”, “Colleague” or “neighbor”. Chances are, in your job, you will have come across at least one type of person that you've found it difficult to work with. Here are seven types of difficult people you may meet at work. There is no Insurance cover to escape from this type   people or not going to get any extra compensation for handling them better.

The Bully: Bullies can be rude, aggressive and negative about people. They blame others and never take responsibility for their own actions. Usually bullies are very insecure. Like Ranga on the above story.
The Gossip: The gossip seems to know everything about everyone and want to share it. They can be the cause of arguments because a lot of the time the information they spread is false. One minute, they talk to you about other colleagues and then the next thing you know you’re the subject of the gossip.
The Complainer: There’s always one person who can never find anything to be happy about. They keep on whining about their heavy workload and can’t complete their projects quietly because they keep procrastinating and complaining.
The Agreeable One: Your agreeable colleague just wants to be liked and will agree to anything but then fail to deliver.
The Criticizer: Criticizers criticize others to make themselves look and feel better. Typically they are the ones who make fun of others e.g. who is the worst dressed. They seem to pick fights for no reason and disagree just for the sake of disagreeing.
The Telltale: Telltale story tellers  are very good at discovering every little mistake you make made at work and then telling on you making them look good and you look bad.
The Backstabber: Back stabbers tend to be nice and helpful on the surface but they do this to gather ammunition and then use it to cause trouble. If you make a mistake, they will be the first to let everyone know. They can cause damage to you and your reputation.

In the next blog let us see how to tackle these king of people. Till then .......buy.

Ideas for Motivating Employees

--> Motivation is the driving force that causes the flux from desire to will in life. For example: a flower with no water still desires for water to sustain life; however, due to its incapability to move and get water, the flower cannot will for water, hence, suffering from a break in the driving force of motivation; it is not to say, however, that, necessarily, the flower lacks the driving force; therefore, all life can said to have, at its very minimal, the igniting spark of motivation. It can be considered a psychological state that compels or reinforces an action toward a desired goal. For example, hunger is a motivation that elicits a desire to eat.      Wikipedia

Managing a group of people with different personalities is never easy.   But if you're managing or leading a team, it's essential to know what motivates your people, how they respond to feedback and praise, and what tasks fit them well. What you are doing is FUTURISTIC ARCHITECTURE.

Unhappy employees are likely to be unproductive employees so the mental well being and happiness of your staff is crucial for your business’ success. Not addressing this now could be expensive for your company later – either through an inefficient workforce or high staff turnover.

In six stages of motivating techniques, measure the motivation, accelerate the motivation constantly, and identify de-motivated employee and take corrective measures and much more.
Giving people responsibility caused them to rise to the challenge. Unleashing their imagination, ingenuity and creativity resulted in their contributions to the organization being multiplied many times over.

The Trouble Tree

All need one trouble tree
I hired a plumber to help me restore an old house, and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job: a flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one ton truck refused to start.
While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence. On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree, touching the tips of the branches with both hands.

When opening the door he underwent an amazing transformation.. His face was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.
Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier.
'Oh, that's my trouble tree,' he replied 'I know I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, those troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the children.. So I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them. Then in the morning I pick them up again.' 'Funny thing is,' he smiled,' when I come out in the morning to pick 'em up, there aren't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before.
THIS ONE IS WORTH SENDING ON.  AS
We all need a Tree!.

Incorporate-2

As the team begins to work together, they move into the “storming” stage. This sage is not avoidable. Storming often starts where there is conflict between team members’ natural working styles. It is for sure, especially a new team who has never worked together before.

Storming can also happen in other situations. Where a team member may challenge your authority or there is no definite clarity about the way team will work or couple of team members compete with each for status and acceptance.
The team leader needs to be adept at facilitating the team through this state- ensuring the team members learn to listen to each other and respect their difference and ideas. The leaders have to guide them to learn two important things. As the team start moving the leader has to guide them to work together, and function both independently and together as a team.

Some teams sometimes do not move beyond this sage and entire project is spent in conflict and low morale and motivation, making it difficult to get the project completed. The cause of the problem is professionally immature team member of members.
