About Fatigue

-->
Fatigue monitored in MH370 search:
The Royal New Zealand Air Force says it will be swapping its crew searching for Flight 370 again this week. It's been nearly a month since contact was lost with the Malaysia Airlines plane and not a single bit of debris has been found despite dozens of planes from around the world being used in the search. Wing Commander Andy Scott says the RNZAF crew scouring the southern Indian Ocean for debris was doing "very well" and were "still motivated", but admitted there were "highs and lows" for the team. He said a third New Zealand crew would come in and take over from the current team this weekend.
"As you can appreciate it's very intensive, they're very long days, and they’re working 16 hour days....so fatigue is certainly an issue we're monitoring." Read here:
Fatigue (also called exhaustion, tiredness, languidness, languor, lassitude, and listlessness) is a subjective feeling of tiredness which is distinct from weakness, and has a gradual onset.
Many life factors can cause fatigue, which can be difficult to recognize. It's important that individuals and organisations work towards reducing it. How dangerous fatigue at work place is: video:3:43mts

Drink some water. Dehydration can make us tired and sluggish. Water can refresh us. Don’t keep that water bottle on your table. Take a walk to the water cooler or to the pantry.
Often this is all you need, especially you have been sitting all day and your blood is pooling up in your butt and legs. You need to get that blood circulating! Go outside, walk around,
Have a glass of water, go to loo,  look at people, and think about your day and your life and the people in it.
Do an errand. This can either be in the office -“Where’s that high lighter gone missing I’ve needed all week? Search for that) or outside the office (“I really should buy some CDs today!”). It gets you moving, it gets you away from the scene of your boredom, and it accomplishes something useful.
Play Sudoku. Perhaps not the most intellectual game of all time, or the most exciting … but I still find it a lot of fun. I only played it a little while and didn’t get addicted like other people I know, but I have to admit it’s a fun way to get diversion from the boring routine.
Improve your skills. Along the same lines: choose a skill that needs sharpening, and challenge yourself to get better at it. Whether that’s computer programming, writing, working with AutoCAD, or whatever. Perfect your skills — you can use it to further your career, get a new job, or become self-employed. Or just have the satisfaction of knowing you’re the best you can be at that skill.
Do some breathing exercise: There are six ways of doing it. Do the simple one.  “Alternate Nostril Breathing” – This is not a difficult one.  Method is explained in the pic:

So in short: just find things to entertain yourself. Keep your mind busy. Challenge yourself. Talk to somebody. Break out of your routine and boredom.
This small exercise also an insurance to improve the working efficiency of your heart, lungs, and muscles,” Many life factors can cause fatigue, which can be difficult to recognize. It's important that individuals and organisations work towards reducing it.
